Leading national law firm seeks a lateral partner to join its Silicon Valley team to lead and grow an intellectual property litigation practice focused on healthcare and life sciences matters. The role emphasizes courtroom and appellate work, counseling on high-stakes IP disputes, and developing relationships with technology-driven healthcare clients.

The ideal hire will take responsibility for originating and managing complex IP litigation matters, mentoring junior litigators, and collaborating across practice groups. A portable practice or demonstrable client relationships in the healthcare/life sciences sector are welcome.

Established partner with a strong record in IP litigation (patent, trade secret, or related disputes).
Significant experience handling healthcare and life sciences clients or matters.
Proven trial and/or appellate experience; ability to manage teams and complex discovery.
Portable client relationships or demonstrated business origination ability preferred.
Admission to the relevant state bar and eligibility to practice in California.
