Lateral Partner — IP & Healthcare Litigation, Washington, D.C.

Senior lateral partner opportunity with a leading U.S. law firm seeking an experienced IP litigator to join its Washington, D.C. team. The role will focus on intellectual property disputes arising in the healthcare and life sciences sectors, working on high‑stakes litigation matters and advising corporate clients across the industry.

The practice offers collaboration with multidisciplinary teams across the firm’s national platform and exposure to both trial and appellate work. The hiring team is looking for a partner who can contribute substantive IP litigation expertise and help grow the practice in the healthcare space.

• Established partner-level experience in IP litigation, ideally including Hatch-Waxman, patent litigation, ANDA or related life sciences disputes.
• Track record of trying cases and handling complex, high-value litigation matters; strong appellate experience a plus.
• Proven ability to advise healthcare and life sciences clients and collaborate with cross-practice teams.
• Business development capabilities — demonstrated client relationships or the ability to generate and grow work for the practice.
