Leading regional law firm with an Atlantic Canada footprint is seeking a lateral equity partner to strengthen its Labour & Employment and Litigation capabilities in Halifax, with opportunities across the broader Atlantic/Maritimes region.

The role will focus on management‑side employment work and commercial litigation, combining client work, team leadership and business development. The team has grown through strategic hires and mergers and offers scope to build a portable practice or expand an existing book of business.

There is flexibility on structuring for the right candidate; exceptional hires may be considered even if they do not exactly meet typical book thresholds. The firm values candidates who can contribute locally while supporting some national or interprovincial matters.

Established partner with significant Labour & Employment and/or commercial litigation experience.
Proven client development ability and a portable practice or demonstrated capacity to build one.
Admission to a Canadian provincial bar (or ability to obtain), with willingness to be based in Halifax or work across Atlantic Canada.
Track record of mentoring/leading teams and contributing to firm growth.
