Lateral Partner — Litigation & Arbitration, Berlin

Platform opening for an experienced litigation partner to join a major international practice in Berlin. The role sits on a small, senior litigation team and will handle complex commercial disputes, with the option to lead international arbitration matters as part of a mixed litigation/arbitration practice.

The firm seeks an equity partner to take a full-time leadership role, managing a compact team of partners and associates and developing the local practice. The position is practice-focused rather than client-facing on a single named matter.

This is a senior hire intended for an established partner with an existing portable practice who can contribute immediately to revenue and client relationships.

• Established equity partner with significant post-qualification experience (senior-level; typically 10+ years in practice).
• Proven portable litigation practice — able to bring an established client base and demonstrable origination record.
• Experience in commercial litigation; candidates who combine litigation with international arbitration preferred (role not suitable for pure arbitration specialists).
• Willingness to lead and mentor a small team of partners and associates; full-time commitment in the Berlin office.
