Leading international litigation firm seeks a lateral partner to join its China disputes practice, splitting time between Beijing and Shanghai. The role focuses on high-value commercial litigation and international arbitration, acting for multinational and regional clients on cross-border disputes.

The successful candidate will build and lead matters, collaborate with colleagues across jurisdictions, and contribute to developing the firm’s presence in the region. This is a client-facing role with responsibility for originating and managing complex cases and mentoring junior lawyers.

Established partner with a proven track record in commercial litigation and international arbitration.
Portable practice with an existing book of business suitable for a high-profile disputes practice.
Admitted/qualified in the relevant jurisdiction(s) and able to work on cross-border matters.
Strong client development skills, fluency in English and Mandarin preferred, and experience leading teams.
