Leading German law firm is seeking a lateral partner to join its Hamburg team in the Litigation and Compliance & Regulatory practice groups. The role focuses on defending and advising clients in white-collar crime matters and complex regulatory investigations, and on building compliance programmes and internal investigations.

The team acts for German and international corporates and individuals across regulatory enforcement, criminal exposure and compliance risk mitigation. The successful candidate will take a senior technical role on cases and contribute to practice development and client relationship management.

Portable practice welcomed: candidates with an established client base or demonstrable business-development capability will be prioritised.

Qualified lawyer admitted in Germany (or equivalent) with substantial white-collar, criminal regulatory or compliance experience.
Significant track record of handling complex investigations, regulatory enforcement or related litigation.
Proven ability to manage teams and lead client matters at partner level.
Business-development experience; candidates with a portable practice or clear origination capability preferred.
