Established national law firm is seeking a lateral partner to join its Kansas City office to lead and grow a cross-practice fintech and cybersecurity practice. The role will split time between complex commercial litigation and corporate matters, including M&A and governance issues for technology-focused clients.

The team advises clients on disputes, incident response and related regulatory matters while supporting transactional work for fintech and cybersecurity-driven businesses. The office is looking for a partner who can develop client relationships locally and regionally and who can work collaboratively with national practice groups.

Proven partner-level experience handling commercial litigation and corporate transactions, ideally with fintech or cybersecurity clients
Track record of business development and client relationship management; portable practice or book of business a strong advantage
Strong drafting, advocacy and deal execution skills; comfortable coordinating cross-office teams
Bar admission in the relevant jurisdiction and ability to practice in Kansas City
