Lateral Partner — Litigation & Corporate, Washington, D.C.

Leading international law firm seeks a lateral partner to expand an established commercial litigation and corporate transactional platform in Washington, D.C. The role focuses on high‑value commercial disputes and cross‑border and domestic M&A and transactional work, with particular sector experience in life sciences, financial services, technology, energy, and automotive.

The team is prioritizing candidates who bring or can attract a cohesive team, who are comfortable handling bet‑the‑company commercial litigation and complex corporate deals, and who will help broaden presence across key U.S. and international markets.

There is an expectation of a portable practice or demonstrable ability to originate and grow significant transactional and litigation work. The firm values team leaders with a track record of developing client relationships and integrating cross‑border practices.

• Established partner-level experience in commercial litigation and/or corporate transactions
• Proven team leadership and business development capability; experience originating and cultivating client relationships
• Comfort handling high‑stakes, cross‑border matters in target sectors (life sciences, financial services, technology, energy, automotive)
• Bar admission and standing in the relevant U.S. jurisdiction
