Well-established national law firm is seeking a lateral partner to join its Charleston team to lead and expand commercial litigation and labor & employment matters. The role will handle a mix of private‑client and industry matters, including professional liability, healthcare, and construction disputes.

The partner will be expected to develop and manage a portable practice, supervise and mentor junior lawyers, and work collaboratively across practice groups to grow regional client relationships. This is a client-facing, rainmaking role with substantial trial and courtroom responsibility.

Proven partner-level experience in commercial litigation and labor & employment matters
Track record handling professional liability, healthcare, and construction disputes preferred
Significant courtroom and trial experience, including managing complex cases
Demonstrated ability to develop client relationships and grow a portable practice
Strong leadership skills and experience supervising associates
