Leading national law firm seeks a lateral partner to build and lead a litigation and employment practice in its Kansas City office. The role will handle complex commercial litigation, employment and professional liability matters, and work with healthcare and construction-related disputes.

The partner will be expected to develop client relationships, mentor junior lawyers, and work collaboratively across practices to support regional growth. A portable practice or demonstrable ability to originate business is welcome.

Proven partner-level experience in commercial litigation and employment/labor matters.
Track record handling professional liability, healthcare, or construction disputes preferred.
Ability to originate and maintain client relationships; business development focus.
Admission to the relevant state bar and eligibility to practice in Kansas City.
Leadership and mentoring experience with associates and support staff.
