Established national law firm is seeking a lateral partner to join its Portland, ME office to lead and grow litigation and employment practices. The role will handle a mix of commercial litigation, employment and labor matters, and industry-specific disputes in areas such as healthcare and construction.

The successful candidate will join a multi-practice team and will be expected to develop business, supervise teams on complex matters, and contribute to client development across the region. This is a partner-level role with opportunity to shape team strategy and practice growth.

Portable client relationships or an ability to generate new business are welcomed and will be considered an asset.

Proven partner-level experience in commercial litigation and employment/labor law.
Track record handling professional liability, healthcare, or construction-related disputes preferred.
Demonstrated ability to originate or grow client relationships and to lead case teams.
Bar admission or eligibility to practice in Maine (or willingness to obtain).
