Leading international firm is recruiting a lateral partner to join its Montreal litigation team on an opportunistic basis. The role is focused on commercial litigation with particular emphasis on environmental, construction, securities and white-collar matters.

The firm seeks an experienced partner with a portable practice and strong client relationships who can contribute immediately. Group or team moves are welcome where the partner’s book and rates support the transition. The office values lawyers who delegate effectively to associates while maintaining high billing standards.

Proven partner-level litigation experience in one or more of: environmental, construction, securities or white-collar matters.
Established, portable book of business and demonstrable client relationships (team moves considered where the business supports it).
Ability to maintain competitive billing rates and to supervise/delegate work to junior lawyers.
Admission to practice in the relevant Canadian jurisdiction(s) and strong local market reputation.
