Established national law firm is seeking a lateral partner to join its San Diego litigation team with a focus on patent litigation and related antitrust matters. The role will handle complex disputes in the life sciences and technology sectors and work closely with private equity-related litigation where IP and competition issues intersect.

The position offers responsibility for leading litigation matters, developing client relationships, and mentoring junior lawyers. The team practices across technical industries and collaborates with national offices on multi-jurisdictional matters.

Proven partner-level experience in patent litigation, especially in life sciences and technology matters.
Experience handling antitrust or competition disputes tied to private equity transactions preferred.
Track record of originating or developing client relationships; portable business welcome.
Strong trial and appellate experience, excellent advocacy and leadership skills.
