Lateral Partner — Litigation & Intellectual Property (Chicago)

Leading national firm seeks a lateral partner to join its Chicago litigation team with a focus on patent and antitrust disputes. The role will handle complex patent litigation matters in life sciences and technology, and antitrust litigation often arising from private equity transactions.

The team combines trial-ready litigation capabilities with cross-practice support from IP, antitrust and corporate groups. This is an opportunity to bring and grow a portable practice within a well-resourced platform and collaborate on high-stakes, market-facing matters.

• Proven partner-level background in patent litigation, with experience in life sciences and/or technology matters.
• Track record handling antitrust or competition disputes, preferably with exposure to private equity-related litigation.
• Demonstrated trial and briefing experience; ability to originate and cultivate client relationships (portable book expected).
• Strong team leadership and ability to work across IP, litigation and transactional groups.
