Lateral Partner — Litigation & Intellectual Property, Research Triangle Park

Established national law firm is seeking a lateral partner to join its Litigation and Intellectual Property practices based in Research Triangle Park. The role will involve leading complex litigation and IP matters, developing client relationships, and working with an existing bench of litigators and transactional lawyers across the U.S.

The firm is particularly interested in partners with a portable practice who can contribute immediately to growth initiatives in corporate, patent/IP litigation, mass torts/product liability, or ERISA-related work. Collaborative cross-office opportunities and responsibility for originating business are part of the role.

• Proven experience as a partner or senior counsel in litigation and/or intellectual property (patent litigation experience preferred).
• Portable practice or demonstrable book of business and client development capabilities.
• Track record handling complex mass tort, product liability, or ERISA/employee-benefits matters is desirable depending on practice focus.
• Ability to collaborate across offices and develop a regional or national practice.
