Established national firm is seeking a Lateral Partner to join its Birmingham office to lead and grow litigation and labor & employment work across the region. The role will handle complex commercial litigation, employment disputes, professional liability, and healthcare- and construction-related matters.

The partner will manage and develop teams, supervise trials and hearings, and work closely with cross-practice colleagues on client strategies. There is a strong focus on business development and expanding regional client relationships.

The firm is looking for a seasoned trial lawyer who can contribute both immediate client service and long-term practice growth; candidates with a portable practice or demonstrable book of business are encouraged to apply.

Experience as a partner or senior litigator with a track record in commercial litigation and employment matters
Extensive trial and courtroom experience; effective team leadership and matter management skills
Proven business development skills; ability to develop client relationships and grow regional practice (portable work a plus)
Active bar admission in the relevant jurisdiction or ability to obtain admission
