Established practice seeking a Lateral Partner to join a busy litigation team in Richmond. The role focuses on commercial litigation with a strong emphasis on labor & employment matters, professional liability, healthcare and construction disputes.

The position combines courtroom advocacy and client counselling across private-entity and regulatory matters. The team handles high-volume defense litigation and complex commercial cases; the new partner will lead cases, mentor associates, and help grow practice revenue in the region.

Proven partner-level experience in litigation and labor & employment (complex defense and commercial matters)
Trial and dispositive motion experience; strong litigation drafting and oral advocacy skills
Client development track record; a portable practice or demonstrable book of business is welcome
Ability to supervise and develop junior lawyers and manage matter budgets
Active bar admission or eligibility to practice in Virginia
