Lateral Partner — M&A (Paris)

Leading international law firm seeks a lateral partner to join its Paris corporate team, with a primary focus on M&A work. The role will involve leading cross-border deal mandates, advising strategic and financial sponsors, and developing a market-facing practice from the Paris office.

The team has a strong transactional platform and is looking for a partner who can strengthen its energy-related work across Africa. This is a partner-level role where a portable practice and the ability to originate and close mandates will be valued.

• Proven partner-level experience in M&A and cross-border transactions.
• Demonstrable experience in energy sector matters, ideally with work relating to African markets.
• Portable client relationships / ability to bring a book of business.
• Strong drafting, client-management and deal-leadership skills; fluent French and English preferred.
