Lateral Partner — M&A (Toronto)

Leading international law firm seeks an equity-level M&A partner to join its Toronto office and help expand a growing Canadian M&A practice. The role will involve leading complex domestic and cross-border M&A matters and integrating into an established corporate team focused on mid-market and larger transactions.

The firm is targeting an entrepreneurial, business-building partner who can contribute an established portable practice and drive long-term growth and succession in the Toronto office. This search is confidential; candidates will be evaluated through confidential submissions.

• Equity partner / lateral partner level with significant M&A transaction experience (public and private deals).
• Proven ability to bring and develop a portable client base and originate new business.
• Strong cross-border experience and comfort working with international clients and teams.
