Senior maritime lawyer sought to join a well-established international shipping practice in Hamburg. The role focuses on transactional shipping work, advising on commercial and corporate matters within the maritime sector.

The successful candidate will join an experienced team and contribute to high-value mandates while helping to grow and develop the practice in Germany. The firm is seeking someone ready to work collaboratively with senior lawyers and take on client-facing responsibilities.

Fluency in German and English is required. Candidates with an existing portable practice or the ability to develop client relationships in the maritime sector are encouraged to apply.

Qualified lawyer admitted in Germany (or equivalent) with approximately 3–5 years' maritime experience
Strong transactional background in shipping/maritime matters
Excellent analytical, drafting and communication skills
Proven team player with ability to work with senior lawyers and lead client interactions
Fluent in German and English
Track record or clear potential to bring/develop a portable client practice in maritime preferred
