Leading specialist entertainment law firm is seeking a lateral partner to join its Media & Entertainment and Technology practice focused on interactive entertainment and video games. The role will partner with existing teams in New York and Los Angeles to advise on commercial deals, licensing, IP protection, distribution, platform agreements and technology-related transactions.

The ideal candidate will work across transactional and counseling matters, help develop and expand the video-game and interactive-entertainment offering, and serve as a senior client-facing presence for studios, publishers and developers. This is a partner-level role where a portable practice and demonstrable business development capability are welcome.

Established partner with significant experience in media & entertainment and technology matters, ideally including video games/interactive entertainment
Strong transactional background: licensing, publisher/developer agreements, platform and distribution deals, IP counseling
Proven client relationship and business development skills; portable practice preferred
Admitted to practice in the U.S.; ability to work across New York and Los Angeles offices and travel as needed
