The role will focus on high-value disputes arising from upstream/downstream energy projects, construction-related claims and international arbitration.
The successful candidate will take a hands-on role running arbitrations and courtroom work, leading small teams locally and coordinating with regional colleagues. This is a partner-level position for an established disputes specialist with a proven track record in the Gulf.
- Established partner-level experience in oil & gas disputes and construction claims in the Middle East.
- Extensive experience in international arbitration (institutional and ad hoc).
- Proven ability to run cases and manage teams across jurisdictions.
- Portable client relationships / proven ability to bring a book of business.
- Track record as a specialist (arbitrator experience desirable) and eligibility/right to work in the region.
