Apply in confidence →Leading international law firm seeks an experienced partner to build and lead patent litigation practice in Munich, with a focus on German patent disputes and Unified Patent Court (UPC) matters. This role fills a gap in the office’s IP capability, complementing an existing team that currently focuses on soft IP (trademarks and copyright).
The partner will take a front-line role handling high-value patent litigation, advising on injunctions, validity challenges and cross-border enforcement within the UPC framework, while developing client relationships and originating new business in Germany and across Europe.
- Established patent litigator admitted in Germany with significant German litigation experience
- Proven track record with German patent cases and practical UPC experience
- Demonstrable client relationships and ability to bring a portable practice / book of business
- Strong litigation advocacy and case-management skills; commercial awareness and business development capability
- Fluent in German and English
