Seeking a lateral partner to lead and grow a privacy, data protection and regulatory compliance practice focused on healthcare and technology clients in New York. The role will advise on cross-cutting matters including HIPAA and health-data compliance, privacy programs, vendor/software contracts, and regulatory risk management.

The partner will work with a multi-disciplinary team, mentor junior lawyers, and collaborate with national practice groups. This is a client-facing role with responsibility for developing business and expanding the firm’s presence in healthcare-technology markets.

Partner-level experience in privacy/data protection and healthcare regulatory matters, with substantial transactional and/or advisory work.
Proven track record of leading teams and mentoring associates.
Demonstrable business development experience; portable client relationships or ability to originate work preferred.
Admission to practice in New York (or eligibility) and strong technical knowledge of relevant healthcare privacy laws and technology contract issues.
