National law firm seeks a lateral partner to join its Chicago project finance and renewable energy practice. The role focuses on leading complex project financings, structuring transactions for renewable energy developments, and advising sponsors, lenders and other stakeholders across the deal lifecycle.

The successful candidate will be a senior, client-facing transactional lawyer able to originate and lead matters, mentor junior lawyers, and contribute to practice growth in the U.S. renewables sector. The team handles cross-border and domestic financings and works closely with related practice groups.

Established partner with substantial experience in project finance and renewable energy transactions.
Proven track record of client origination and a portable practice or demonstrable business development capability.
Strong transactional and drafting skills; experience with sponsor and lender-side financings.
Bar admission in the relevant U.S. jurisdiction and ability to work from the Chicago office.
