Senior real estate and construction partner opportunity with a leading national law firm . The role will lead and grow a market-facing practice in Chicago focusing on commercial real estate transactions and construction matters, acting for owners, developers, lenders and contractors.

The partner will manage and mentor a team of associates and counsel, handle complex transactional work and disputes prevention, and work closely with cross-practice colleagues on project development and finance matters. There is scope for business development and to bring a portable practice.

Established partner-level experience in commercial real estate and construction law.
Proven track record of managing complex transactions, drafting and negotiating construction and real estate documents, and advising developers/lenders/contractors.
Demonstrated client development skills and ability to grow a practice; portable business welcome.
Experience leading teams, supervising associates, and collaborating with related practice groups.
Admission to practice in Illinois (or ability to become admitted).
