Leading national law firm is seeking a lateral partner to join its Chicago real estate and construction practice. The role will focus on advising owners, developers, lenders and contractors on transactional and project-level matters across commercial real estate and construction sectors.

The successful candidate will take a senior role on client engagements, manage deal teams, and play an active part in business development to grow the practice in the Midwest market. Portable practice or an existing book of business will be considered a strong asset.

Established partner with significant experience in real estate and construction matters (transactional and/or project representation).
Proven client-development skills; portable practice or book of business preferred.
Strong drafting, negotiation and team-management abilities on complex deals and contracts.
Bar admission in Illinois or ability to qualify; experience working with lenders, developers, owners, or contractors.
