Leading regional office seeks an experienced partner to head and grow a construction-focused litigation practice within a busy real estate and construction group. The role centers on handling complex construction disputes, commercial real estate litigation, and related contractual matters across trial and arbitration forums.

Responsibilities include managing a docket of contested matters, supervising and mentoring associates, coordinating with clients and outside experts, and driving business development to expand the practice. The team works on a mix of preventive counseling and high-stakes litigation for owners, contractors and other industry participants.

A portable practice and existing client relationships are welcomed and will be considered in assessing candidacy. This is an opportunity to join an established platform and take a leadership role in a growing office.

Established lateral partner with substantial experience in construction and commercial real estate litigation
Proven trial and/or arbitration experience and ability to manage complex contested matters
Track record of originating or growing client relationships; portable book of business welcome
Experience supervising associates and leading matter teams; strong business development and client-management skills
Admission to practice in Iowa (or ability to obtain admission) and strong professional references
