Seeking a lateral partner to lead and expand a blended Real Estate, Construction and Estate Planning practice in the Minneapolis office of a national law firm. The role will advise on transactional and advisory matters across real estate development, construction-related issues and succession/estate planning tied to real property interests.

The team serves a mix of institutional, developer and private clients; the work mixes deal-focused matters, risk allocation in construction contracts and estate/succession planning that integrates real estate holdings. The position offers a senior role on an established regional practice platform and close collaboration with transactional and litigation colleagues.

Partner candidates with a portable practice or demonstrable business development track record are encouraged. The role provides resources to support client growth and cross-practice referral opportunities.

Established partner or equivalent with significant experience in real estate and construction law; experience with estate/succession planning related to property is a strong plus
Proven ability to originate and develop client relationships; portable book of business preferred
Track record of leading client teams and mentoring junior lawyers
Licensed to practice in Minnesota (or able to obtain admission) and comfortable working with both transactional and advisory matters
