Established national law firm seeks a lateral partner to join its Kansas City real estate and construction practice. The role focuses on transactional and project-oriented work across commercial real estate, development, leasing, and construction matters.

The partner will advise owners, developers, lenders and contractors on acquisitions/dispositions, financing, lease negotiations, construction contracts and dispute avoidance strategies. The position involves leading client relationships, developing business, and mentoring associates within a collaborative team.

Established partner-level experience in real estate and construction law with a strong track record of handling complex commercial transactions and project matters.
Experience advising on acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, construction contracts and related risk-management strategies.
Proven client-development ability; a portable practice or demonstrable book of business is a plus.
Strong leadership and mentoring skills; comfortable managing teams and supervising associate work.
Active bar admission and good standing in the relevant jurisdiction or ability to qualify.
