Lateral Partner — Restructuring & Bankruptcy, New York

Leading global law firm is seeking a Lateral Partner to join its New York restructuring and corporate practice. The role will focus on advising distressed companies, creditors and other stakeholders on restructurings, insolvency proceedings and related corporate matters.

The team handles complex Chapter 11 work, out-of-court restructurings and cross-border insolvency matters. This is a visible role with opportunities to lead engagements, mentor associates and develop client relationships within a broad restructuring platform.

• Established restructuring/bankruptcy practice with experience leading high‑value matters and courtroom or creditor‑committee work
• Proven ability to originate and grow client relationships; portable practice welcomed
• Strong corporate and transactional background related to restructurings and distressed M&A
• Admitted to practice in New York (or eligible); excellent drafting, negotiation and client-facing skills
