Apply in confidence →Well‑established U.S. law firm is seeking a lateral partner to join its Washington, D.C. office to lead and grow a corporate restructuring and bankruptcy practice. The role involves handling complex restructurings, insolvency matters and creditor/debtor representation across the capital structure.
The partner will work closely with a multidisciplinary team across practices to advise corporate clients, lenders and other stakeholders on restructurings, distressed M&A and related corporate and finance issues. Significant client contact, matter leadership and business development responsibility are expected.
- Admitted to practice in relevant U.S. jurisdiction(s); active bar membership required.
- Proven partner‑level experience in bankruptcy, restructuring and distressed corporate transactions.
- Demonstrated track record of originating or materially growing client relationships; ability to bring or develop a portable practice.
- Strong leadership, team management and client service skills; experience collaborating with corporate and finance teams.
