Leading German practice is seeking a lateral partner to strengthen its restructuring and finance offering in Hamburg. The role combines restructuring mandates with bank and creditor-side financing matters, and will sit within a busy insolvency/restructuring and finance team.

The partner will be expected to originate work, lead client engagements and manage a team of lawyers on complex insolvency-related restructurings and financing transactions. The position offers a client-facing leadership role with opportunities for cross-border coordination across Germany and other jurisdictions.

Applicants with a portable practice or demonstrable client relationships in restructuring/finance are encouraged to apply.

Established partner-level experience in restructuring/insolvency and finance matters.
Proven track record of originating and managing complex mandates and leading teams.
Portable practice or demonstrable client relationships in relevant areas preferred.
Admission/qualification to practise in Germany or equivalent continental qualifications advantageous.
