Lateral Partner — Restructuring & Insolvency, Birmingham

An established UK law firm is hiring a lateral partner to lead its Birmingham restructuring and insolvency practice. The role will involve advising on complex insolvency processes, corporate restructurings, creditor engagements and work with insolvency practitioners across domestic matters.

The successful candidate will take a leading client-facing role, manage and develop a team, and help grow the practice in the region. There is scope to shape the strategic direction of the desk and to originate new business.

• Proven partner-level experience in restructuring and insolvency matters.
• Track record advising companies, creditors and insolvency practitioners on complex cases.
• Strong client-development and team leadership skills; a portable practice or demonstrable ability to generate work is desirable.
• Excellent commercial judgment and strong communication skills.
