Lateral Partner — Restructuring & Insolvency, Toronto

Leading Canadian law firm is seeking an experienced restructuring and insolvency partner to join its Toronto office. The role is focused on senior-led, high‑value restructuring mandates across insolvency proceedings, restructurings and turnaround work.

The team is open to established partners with a portable restructuring practice; strong origination and client relationships will be central to a successful candidacy. The firm will also consider senior associates with significant restructuring experience.

New lateral partners typically join on a non‑equity basis for an initial period, with partnership terms discussed case‑by‑case.

• Proven senior restructuring/insolvency practice with demonstrable client relationships and origination ability
• Admission to the Ontario bar (or eligible for admission) and substantial Canadian restructuring experience
• Track record advising on insolvency proceedings, workouts, and creditor/debtor mandates
• Strong commercial judgment, leadership skills and ability to integrate into a senior team
