Leading national law firm is building its Montreal securities capability and is seeking a lateral partner to help establish critical mass in the office. The focus is on candidates with a portable securities practice or a small team who can immediately contribute to a public/securities offering and investment-management capability.

The firm already has strong practices in investment management and private-company M&A and is looking for a partner who can integrate with those areas and help grow securities work in Quebec. This role is best suited to a partner-level hire or a team, rather than a one-off individual without a portable book.

Established partner with a proven securities practice and portable client relationships (individuals or team hires preferred).
Experience in public securities work and investment-management matters; familiarity with private-company capital markets is an asset.
Admission to practice in Quebec/Canada or ability to become admitted.
Track record of business development and ability to build a practice in Montreal.
