Leading law firm in Boston is seeking a lateral partner to lead and grow its energy tax practice. The role focuses on high-value transactional and advisory tax work for clients across the energy sector, including renewables, infrastructure and related finance matters.

The partner will advise on structuring, tax planning, and compliance for deals and investments, work closely with corporate and finance teams, and help expand client relationships. A portable practice or demonstrable business development capability in energy tax is welcome.

Admission to practice in relevant U.S. jurisdiction; JD with strong tax background (LLM in Tax or equivalent preferred).
Substantial partner-level experience in tax counseling for energy transactions and financings.
Proven ability to originate and manage client relationships; portable practice desirable.
Strong technical tax skills, teamwork with corporate/finance groups, and business development aptitude.
