Seeking a lateral partner to join and lead an energy-focused tax practice in Nashville. The role will involve advising developers, sponsors and financiers on tax structuring for energy transactions and projects across conventional and renewable sectors.

The position offers a platform to build or bring a portable practice, collaborate with national teams, and develop client relationships across transactional and regulatory tax matters.

JD and active Tennessee bar admission (or willingness to obtain)
Significant partner-level experience in energy tax, including project, transactional or financing work
Proven track record of originating and managing client engagements and mentoring junior lawyers
Strong technical tax skills and experience working with interdisciplinary deal teams
