A leading international law firm is seeking a lateral partner to join and help lead its energy tax practice in the Pittsburgh market. The role focuses on advising energy companies, sponsors and investors on tax planning, structuring and compliance matters across conventional and renewable energy transactions.

The position will involve collaborating with cross-practice teams on tax-sensitive deals, supporting business development in the region, and providing senior-level client advice on complex transactional and regulatory tax issues. Candidates with an established, portable energy tax practice and proven client relationships are encouraged to apply.

Partner-level experience in energy tax work (transactional and structuring).
Demonstrated track record of business development and client relationship management; portable practice preferred.
Experience advising energy industry clients (conventional and renewable projects, financings, M&A, or project development).
Strong technical tax skills and ability to supervise and mentor junior lawyers.
Bar admission in Pennsylvania or ability to become admitted.
