Leading law firm seeks a partner to join and grow its energy tax practice in Raleigh. The role focuses on advising energy industry clients on tax structuring, regulatory tax issues, and transactional tax aspects tied to energy projects and investments.

The successful candidate will lead engagements, supervise and develop junior lawyers, and work closely with cross-practice teams on complex tax matters. The firm values professionals who can originate work and contribute to business development; candidates with a portable practice are encouraged to apply.

Established partner-level experience advising energy-sector clients on federal, state, and transactional tax matters.
Proven ability to lead matters and manage teams; strong client relationship and business-development skills.
Bar admission in the relevant U.S. jurisdiction and excellent technical drafting and communication skills.
Track record of bringing or developing client relationships and a portable practice is preferred.
