Lateral Partner — Tax & Estate Planning, Northern Virginia (McLean)

Highly regarded national law firm is seeking a lateral partner to join its Tax and Estate Planning practice in the Northern Virginia (McLean) office. The role focuses on advising high-net-worth individuals and closely held businesses on sophisticated federal and state tax planning, estate and gift planning, and related wealth-transfer strategies.

The successful candidate will join an established, cross-disciplinary team and will work closely with private client, corporate and trust-administration colleagues. This is a client-facing leadership position with opportunities to expand a portable practice and to originate new matters.

• Experienced tax/estate planning partner with a strong technical background in federal and state tax, estate, gift and trust matters.
• Proven ability to originate and manage client relationships; portable client base or demonstrable business development capability preferred.
• Bar admission and credentials appropriate for private client work; strong communication and team leadership skills.
