Established national law firm is seeking a lateral partner to join its Alexandria office to lead and grow tax-related litigation matters. The role combines courtroom and advisory work across federal and state tax disputes, appeals, and contested administrative proceedings.

This is a hands-on partner role: you will manage complex litigation teams, develop business with existing contacts, and work closely with other practice groups on cross-disciplinary matters. The firm offers national platform support while preserving partner-level autonomy over client relationships and case strategy.

Admission to practice in Virginia (or ability to obtain promptly)
Proven trial and appellate litigation experience involving tax disputes
Track record of managing teams and mentoring junior lawyers
Portable practice or ability to bring and develop client relationships preferred
