Lateral Partner — Tax Litigation, Cleveland

Established national law firm seeks a senior transactional litigator to lead and grow its tax litigation offering in the Cleveland market. The role combines courtroom work, appeals and complex tax controversy matters across state and federal forums.

The successful candidate will manage and mentor a team of associates, drive case strategy from investigation through trial, and collaborate with tax advisers and regulatory specialists. There is clear support for business development and expanding a portable practice in the region.

• Admission to the relevant state bar and active litigation practice in the U.S.
• Significant experience in tax controversy and litigation, including federal and state tax matters.
• Demonstrated trial or appellate experience and case management skills.
• Track record of client development and ability to grow a portable practice.
• Experience supervising associates and working cross-discipline with tax and regulatory teams.
