Seeking a lateral partner to join a busy tax and litigation practice in Nashville. The role combines courtroom-focused tax controversy work with counseling on tax-related disputes and regulatory matters.

The partner will manage a mixed caseload, lead courtroom and appellate work as needed, supervise junior lawyers and support staff, and work closely with transactional teams on tax aspects of deals. There is scope to grow a regional practice and contribute to business development.

Established background in tax controversy and related litigation, including trial or significant courtroom experience.
Proven ability to manage matters from intake through resolution and to supervise associates and staff.
Track record of developing client relationships and contributing to business development; portable client relationships welcomed.
Admission to practice in Tennessee or ability to obtain admission as required.
