Established national law firm is seeking a Lateral Partner to join its New Orleans office to lead and grow tax controversy and litigation matters. The role will focus on representing clients in state and federal tax disputes, litigation strategy, and trial-ready advocacy.

The position offers a platform to develop a regional tax litigation practice within a broad commercial litigation platform. Candidates should be prepared to take a visible client-facing role and to work collaboratively with other practice groups on cross-disciplinary matters.

  • Proven partner-level experience handling tax controversy and litigation matters at state and federal levels
  • Strong trial and courtroom experience, including motions practice and dispute resolution
  • Track record of business development and client relationship management; portable practice welcomed
  • Active bar admission in Louisiana or ability to become admitted; excellent writing and advocacy skills
