Senior tax-litigation partner sought to lead and grow a tax controversy and litigation practice out of the firm’s Southern Illinois office. The role combines courtroom experience with regulatory and transactional tax advice, handling state and federal tax disputes, appeals and related pre‑litigation work.

The partner will manage and develop matters, supervise associates, and work collaboratively with broader litigation and tax teams across the firm’s national platform. A portable practice or established client relationships are welcome and will be supported.

Proven partner‑level experience in tax controversy and litigation (state and/or federal).
Demonstrable trial and appellate experience handling contested tax matters.
Track record of client relationship development and business generation; portable book of business welcomed.
Experience supervising and mentoring junior lawyers and working in multi‑office teams.
Active bar admission and good standing in the relevant jurisdiction(s).
