Leading regional law firm is seeking a lateral partner to join its Southern Illinois office to build and lead a litigation-focused practice. The role emphasizes employment and labor matters, professional liability and healthcare-related disputes, and construction litigation.

The partner will handle a mix of private-client and commercial litigation, supervise and develop more junior lawyers, and work closely with practice teams across the region. A track record of courtroom and motion practice, plus experience managing complex disputes in the listed sectors, is essential.

Candidates with an existing portable practice or demonstrable client-development ability are encouraged to apply; the role offers a platform to grow an established book of business within a multi-office U.S. firm.

Admission to the relevant state bar and eligibility to practice in Illinois
Established litigation experience with employment/labor, professional liability, healthcare or construction matters
Proven trial and motion practice; strong written advocacy
Experience supervising associates and collaborating across practice teams
Demonstrable business development skills; portable book of business welcomed
