Leading national law firm seeks a lateral partner to join its Boston office to lead and expand a privacy and data protection practice focused on technology and healthcare clients. The role emphasizes client counseling, cross-practice collaboration, and handling complex regulatory, transactional and compliance matters.

The successful candidate will advise on HIPAA and healthcare data privacy issues, data security incidents, regulatory responses, and privacy-by-design initiatives for software and health-tech companies. This position offers significant client-facing responsibility, team leadership, and opportunities to develop business across the firm’s national platform.

Established partner with robust experience in privacy, data protection and information security matters.
Substantial work with technology and healthcare industry clients (including health information/privacy issues).
Proven client development skills and readiness to grow a portable practice or contribute meaningful business generation.
Active bar admission and strong litigation/regulatory/transactional drafting and counseling abilities.
