Leading national law firm seeks a lateral partner to join its San Francisco office to lead and grow a privacy and data-protection practice serving technology and healthcare clients. The role will involve advising on complex privacy compliance, data breaches, cross-border transfers, vendor agreements, and regulatory risk management.

The position is practice-focused and commercially oriented: you will manage client relationships, lead deal and incident response teams, and collaborate closely with colleagues across practice groups. The hiring group values a portable practice and demonstrated client origination.

Experienced counsel with a track record in privacy & data protection matters for technology and/or healthcare clients
Established client relationships and demonstrable business origination; portable practice preferred
Proven ability to lead teams and manage cross-functional matters
Active bar admission and eligibility to practice in California
