Leading national law firm seeks a lateral partner to join its Tallahassee office and build/lead a privacy and data protection practice focused on technology and healthcare clients. The role combines client-facing project work, cross-practice collaboration, and business development within the firm’s existing industry platform.

The successful candidate will advise on privacy, data security and compliance issues for software and healthcare-sector clients, manage matters from intake through resolution, and work closely with litigation, regulatory and transactional teams as needed. This is an opportunity to join an established, nationally-oriented firm with regional presence and resources.

Portable business is welcome; the firm values partner candidates who can grow client relationships and help expand the practice locally and across the firm’s platform.

Partner-level experience practicing privacy/data protection, with significant work for technology and/or healthcare clients.
Admitted to practice in Florida (or able to become admitted) and licensed to handle matters from the Tallahassee office.
Proven track record of originating and managing client relationships; experience supervising teams and leading engagements.
Strong business development skills and ability to collaborate across practice groups and offices.
